From Norm Magnusson:
Greetings far-flung art lovers,
In case you missed my recent installation of “Youth Culture in America”…
. . . here are some upcoming exhibitions to put on your calendar:
Strange bedfellows (New York City). At Le Petite Versailles, a wonderful sculpture garden in NYC, you can view my Flower Marker Project until the end of July.
Wild Thing (St. Helena, CA). For my Bay Area friends, mark your calendar for this fun group show at The Ira Wolk Gallery’s Cliff Lede Vineyard location. The opening is July 11.
Little group show (Beacon, NY). Opening July 12 and running through 4 August at The Van Brunt Gallery. I’ll be showing a new work in a whole new style on the theme of pollution in the Hudson Valley.
Gallery 668 (Greenwich, N.Y.). A two person show opening August 10 at a sweet gallery outside Saratoga Springs.
LMCC (NYC). I just got a grant from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council to put “historical” plaques on the sides of buildings in lower Manhattan. It’s a whole can of bureaucracy that’s just been opened up, but hopefully the markers will be up by this fall. Details to follow, visit the I-75 Project website to get an idea of what this is all about.
