Egyptians pan Asian import that ‘restores’ virginity

An Asian import grants a woman a sort of “do over” on her first time in the sack and conservative Egyptian lawmakers want to ban the device, unambiguously named the “Artificial Virginity Hymen.”
After a woman inserts the device, it expands to make the woman feel tighter. Intercourse pressures the device to rupture and leak “just the right amount” of blood-like liquid, according to Gigimo-brand product literature.
“Add in a few moans and groans, you will pass through undetectable,” the product’s description continues.
Available for $30, the artificial hymen is intended to help newly wed wives dupe their husbands into believing they are virgins, a marriage prerequisite for many women of the Middle East. The product’s description says the faux hymen is made in Japan, but it’s shipped from an online Chinese sex products company.
Male Egyptian critics say the product makes it easier for women to give in to temptation and give it up. They want to outlaw the cherry sham and have anyone arrested for selling it on the black market.
Some Egyptian women say men have created a double standard and that premarital sex is as much a right for a woman as it is for men, but men aren’t shunned for letting their mojo manage their manners.
What’s more, just a little research will tell Egyptian men that, for a host of reasons, some women simply don’t bleed during initial intercourse.
Sometimes size matters.
