Check out a major exhibition dedicated to the work of Giuseppe Arcimboldo (1526-1593) at the Luxembourg Museum in Paris until January 2008. The works of Giuseppe Arcimboldo were recognized by the Hapsburgs, but after his death were forgotten for four centuries until they were rediscovered by, and influential to, the Surrealist artists including Salvador Dali in the first part of 20th century.
